About Marie Rodriguez

Human Potential Architect. Executive Coach. Leadership Strategist.

When was the last time you felt like yourself?

Not the version of you everyone depends on.

Not the leader your team needs you to be.

Not the person carrying the weight of everyone else’s expectations.

The real you.

The one who felt grounded in your decisions.

The one who trusted your instincts.

The one who could be fully present instead of constantly preparing for the next challenge.

Leadership has a way of changing us.

It's not incapability–somewhere between serving others, solving problems, and carrying responsibilities, we quietly stop caring for the person carrying it all.

Leadership can be one of the loneliest experiences in the world. Not because you’re surrounded by too few people. You’re surrounded by people who need something from you. And while everyone looks to you for certainty, strength, and direction, you begin to wonder where your own has gone.

If you’ve ever felt that way, I want you to know something: I don’t believe you need to be fixed. I don’t believe you’ve lost your potential.

I believe you’ve become disconnected from yourself beneath the weight of leadership.

And I believe that when we create the right conditions, clarity returns. Confidence returns. Capacity returns. And not because they’ve been given to you–they’ve been within you all along.

I’m Marie Rodriguez, and I call myself a Human Potential Architect because my work is about designing those conditions.

For more than two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of leadership, organizational development, executive coaching, learning strategy, operations, human behavior, and nervous system regulation. I’ve partnered with Fortune 500 organizations, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and emerging leaders through seasons of growth, uncertainty, reinvention, and transformation.

Across every industry and every role, I’ve discovered the same truth: People don’t rise to their full potential by becoming someone else. They rise by remembering who they are.

At Active Lotus, I bring together executive coaching, leadership development, mindfulness, neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and strategic thinking into one integrated approach designed to help leaders move from surviving to thriving.

My passion is serving what I call Lonely Leaders—the people quietly carrying the emotional weight of leadership while ensuring everyone else has what they need to succeed.

My commitment is to become the best in the world at helping those leaders become the fullest expression of themselves.

When leaders reconnect with themselves, they don’t just change their own lives. They change the experience of everyone they lead.

  • Families become stronger.
  • Teams become healthier.
  • Organizations become more human.
  • Communities become more connected.

This is what drives everything I do. I believe leadership is one of the most powerful forces for shaping the human experience.

When we invest in the person behind the leader, we improve not only how organizations perform, but how people live, work, connect, and grow. That’s how we improve the human experience through leadership.

That’s how we unlock human potential at scale.

So I’ll leave you with this: What if the leader you’ve been searching for isn’t someone you have to become? What if they’re someone you’ve been waiting to remember?

If that possibility speaks to you, welcome. You are exactly where you’re meant to be.
